About the company
Ironfield Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (IFESB) is an East Malaysia–based engineering, fabrication and offshore services contractor serving the oil and gas industry. Incorporated on 19 March 2013, the company has developed into a dependable execution partner with proven experience in structural and piping fabrication, brownfield modification, installation, and hook-up and commissioning support.
Our core strength lies in the practical execution of structural and piping works for offshore platforms and related facilities. Through our Kuching fabrication workshop, Labuan operations hub, scalable skilled workforce and established partner-yard network, we are able to support both standalone fabrication packages and larger multi-package projects.
With a Sabah and Sarawak ownership structure, IFESB is rooted across East Malaysia and strategically positioned to support developments throughout Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan. This regional presence enables efficient mobilisation, strong local collaboration, and alignment with client and industry local-content objectives.
IFESB has built long-standing working relationships with operators and EPCIC contractors through safe delivery, disciplined project control and consistent workmanship. Supported by structured HSE and QA/QC systems, we continue to strengthen our people, facilities and execution partnerships to deliver scalable, responsible and dependable project outcomes.
IFESB is supported by founding management and technical personnel whose collective project execution experience dates back to 1998.
